Bloc Party

Bloc Party churn out quirky, spastic post-punk curiosities that you can imagine were recorded in a bitter cold South London practice space around 1982 — only half of which could be true. Their debut LP drops September 14; the major label bidding war should start shortly thereafter (if it hasn’t already).

  3. I first heard this band a couple of months ago, when a friend sent me "Helicopter", and I was hooked. I bought their album straight away, and it's nice to see a couple of non-album tracks here.

  4. Check out the new remix album. It has a bunch of 3hive bands on it, like Ladytron, Four Tet, Mogwai, and Death From Above 1979.
