I feel weird not letting Clay post this one, as he’d be able to tell you exactly what plot point warranted Matt Pond PA’s “New Hampshire” in a recent episode of “The O.C.” All I can tell you is recent plot points in my chaotic life have warranted the tender, string-buoyed comfort of Matt Pond PA’s “Fairlee.” And “A List of Sound.” And “Closer.” Not every track here is as cheerful as the above. But your personal plot points may warrant just that, so who am I to deny you?

I'm a big fan of the Polyvinyl Records, and I love that Matt Pond PA. Was there really an appearance on The O.C., cause I haven't seen it since the Walkmen were on…honestly…
Am I the only one who thinks "Fairlee" sounds a bit like Peter Gabriel backed by…i dunno, the Walkmen, maybe?
measure 3 is a beautiful song. i love the strings.
It is funny that this band just came up for review; mostly because katherine (see above comment) just introduced them to me. What are the odds!? Anywho, I can't say that this is my favorite genre, but I must admit to loving his sound. Katherine is right, the strings are wonderful.
hey im having trouble finding out what the songs called that matt pond sings that was just recently played on the OC. anyone have any clue?
